E komo mai  (Welcome!) to Ramon’s site!

Originally from Hawai’i where he began honing his skills in the art of raku pottery over 30 years ago, Ramon has been taking the ceramic art world by storm ever since.  After a move to the D.C. area in ë96, he gained national recognition as a ceramic artist and juried member of the prestigious Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, as well as resident artist at Lee Arts Center in Arlington.  After living in Vienna, VA for over a decade, Ramon now spends more time back home in Hawai’i, rejuvenated by the environment and land that has always inspired his work.
